Red
Vineyards situation
Chambolle-Musigny is one of the most famous villages of Côte de Nuits. This appellation is rather small.
Characteristics
"Les drazyes" vineyards is located next to Sentiers and Baudes. The very stony soil is composed of limestone with gravels. It is East and South-East oreinted.
Wine making
The grapes are destemmed. Fermentation takes place in open vats during three weeks. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for about a year.
Winemaker's comments / Gastronomy
Very nice dark ruby colour.
Very open and attractive nose, rather classic but complex and "unusual" at the same time.
Well balanced in the mouth with soft tannins, nice rythm and nice Côte de Nuits architecture, very lively aromas and nice mineralilty.
This wine will match very well filet-mignon, tournedos steak but also small game and many types of cheeses.
Preservation
This wine will age very well 8 to 12 years in good temperature and humidity conditions.
