The production area for this wine is the Côte d'Or region exclusively (incl. Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune). Les Climats name is a tribute to Burgundy : the word "Climat" refers to a particular vineyard site, expressing its specific terroir.

Les Climats is a premium blend of Burgundy appellation, villages and some Premiers Crus. As if making a mosaic, each year, our winemaker decides upon the most harmonious possible blend capturing the very essence of Chardonnay from Burgundy.

Like most of the Bourgogne appellation wines from Louis Jadot, Les Climats is partly vinified and aged in oak barrels and partly vinified in stainless steel tanks.

This wine presents a slightly oaky and spicy nose with complex aromas of dry grass, fern and hazelnuts. With a lot of elegance, it is structured, pleasant, with a nice acidity. Les Climats will perfectly match terrines, grilled fish, poultry or fresh goat cheese.

This wine can be drunk now but it will still evolve nicely for 5 years or more from vintage.
