Wine making
This Premier Cru is vinified in open tanks during 3-4 weeks, in order to obtain an ideal expression of the soil. Then it is aged in oak barrel during 15-18 months.
Winemaker's comments / Gastronomy
The Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru Les Sorbés is usually elegant, not too colourful, with subtle tannins. The nose is elegant, delicate quite similar to the Vosne wines. Les Sorbés is more straightforward and tight than the Vosne wines with a good potential of aging.
This premier Cru matches reds meats, game and a lot of cheeses.
Preservation
This wine will be able to age easily between 10 to 12 years according vintage and conditions of keeping.
