Wine making

Winemaker's comments / Gastronomy

The clayey calcareous soil gives the wine a deep red-black colour and an intense bouquet of red fruits, with good tannins. In terms of style, Pommard 1er Cru « Les Pezerolles » is a rich, round and powerful wine. It will be a perfect partner for quite strong cuisine : entrecôte steak in wine, strong cheeses ...

The best time for drinking it is after 5 years up to 20-25 years.
