Saint-Aubin en Remilly PREMIER CRU

Vineyards situation

The commune of Saint Aubin lies at the western fringe of the Côte de Beaune overlooking Auxey Duresses, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay.

Situated above sheer cliffs, Premier Cru "En Remilly" is very close to Montrachet Grand Cru. The soil is quite abundant and vineyard faces South-West.

Wine making

Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, after which they are aged in barrel for 12 months before being bottled.

Winemaker's comments / Gastronomy

The Saint Aubin 1er Cru "En Remilly" from Maison Louis Jadot has a pale gold colour with light green tint. This wine has a developped fragrance, with hazelnut aromas, quite fresh. It ages very well. It will be perfect with white meat in sauce, shellfish and goat cheese.

Saint Aubin 1er Cru "En Remilly" can be drunk very young but can easily be kept during 7 to 10 years following the vintage and in good cellaring conditions (temperature and moisture).
